Breast Augmentation and Rhinoplasty in Korea – Paige’s Story

Paige won the 2022 ID Model Contest and came to ID Hospital for a rhinoplasty and a breast augmentation

Paige was a United States citizen living in Korea, and at the time of the surgery she was 30 years old.

How was her experience of surgery in a foreign country?

ID Hospital: Why did you decide to have plastic surgery?

Paige: Actually I used to do boxing and MMA and I actually got punched really hard in the nose. And you probably don’t see it but I have four CC and four PDO threads in my nose to at least kind of straighten it out. And because I started working out again my breasts got a lot smaller, so I want to look and feel more feminine than manly. So that’s why I’m getting rhinoplasty and a breast augmentation.

ID Hospital: When did you start worrying about your nose shape?

Paige: I was doing boxing and MMA in highschool and after I got knocked out pretty hard I didn’t really pay that much attention to it. But then a student said something to me like “Your nose is a little crooked, your nose is a little protruding out of your face”. I didn’t pay too much mind to it but then I started to realize it. After that I would always look at it in the mirror and all I can think of is her voice in my head. You know, the crookedness and the protrusion.

Dr. Oh The tip of the nose you are talking about is slightly droopy. There is also a feeling that the collumela is slightly droopy. If you raise the tip of your nose by adding some cartilage in the middle your nose will look more feminine and sophisticated. This way, it’s a little slim here. If we put the cartilage on both sides together, then you will get a beautiful result. It will help if I reduce the protruding bone and cartilage area, and that will be the best result.

Paige: [the implant I want] is 350cc and it’s not too perky like a natural teardrop..

Dr. Kim: If you want breasts with this amount of volume, you can get it with that size. Now, the thickness of your skin and the degree of stretchiness is fine so it is possible to add this volume. If you look at it now, the left breast is a little lower, and it has a bit more volume than the right one. I’m going to make the incisions the same and put the upper line of both breasts at the same height. We will adjust the volume of the implant so that both sides are the same size. We’ll do that because it’s less visible.

Paige: I feel like Korea’s hospitals are very modern and I feel like they have a lot of experience with people who want to get surgery and that’s why I picked ID Hospital, because like I said, if you want a god-like body or a god-like face you need to have a surgeon who has god-like fingers.
