PRP injection that revives the skin through autologous blood

What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) that is also referred to as ‘skin revival technique using autologous blood’ is a skin revival technique that uses one’s blood to revive the skin and it also means plasma rich with blood platelet. When one’s blood is separated using the latest centrifugal separator, the part with the richest blood platelet at the lower part of the separated plasma is used.

Because PRP has seven key condensed protein growth factors that derives from the blood platelet that help the skin to revive from scar, it offers superb function that revives the skin of the operated part. PRP skin revival technique is easy just like Botox or Filler and requires short time.

This is especially effective for the whitening effect that turns the skin tone smooth and clear, and for the skin elasticity improvement. Moreover, it is used for the treatment of skin lesions such as acne, miscellaneous spots and others, wide pores and acne scars. Although there is difference by individual, patients can feel the visibly noticeable effect after two to three weeks.
PRP’s basic principles

Key growth factors included in the PRP
  • PDGF (Platelet Derived Growth Factor): cell proliferation and new blood vessel generation, collagen synthesis
  • FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor): damaged tissue recovery, collagen synthesis
  • EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor): epithelial cell growth acceleration, new blood vessel generation,
    accelerated scar healing
  • VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor): acceleration of blood vessel endotheliocyte proliferation
  • TGF (Transforming Growth Factor): acceleration of epithelial cell and
    blood vesselendotheliocyte proliferation, scar healing
