Interview before surgery

ID Hospital: How did you come to know ID hospital?

David: I was searching for reputable hospital for rhinoplasty in Korea and I looked at it on a Tiktok. I came across ID Hospital. And I read some reviews, they seemed great so here I am today..

ID Hospital: How long have you been considering getting this rhinoplasty?

David: I’ve been thinking of getting rhinoplasty for about around two to three years. I started notice the complexion of my nose and ever since, I’ve been looking forward to doing it..

ID Hospital: What kind of improvement are you expecting?

David: What I’m going to get fixed is a straighter nose. If you look from a side profile, there is a little bit of a hump and I’m looking to get a little bit of a point on my nose because it is more rounded off..

ID Hospital: How are you feeling now?

David: How am I feeling now? I’m definitely a little nervous because this is a permanent procedure. It’s not a filler or anything but I trust ID hospital and I’m looking forward to it.

 

 

Consultation with Surgeon

ID Hospital’s rhinoplasty specialist said:

“The shape of nose under the hump is not so straight and it’s a bit droopy. So that we can improve it, first we have to shave the hump. We will raise the nasal bridge with a silicon insertion above the hump area, and to make it straight we will raise the nose tip together. I also see your nose is quite rounded and puffy when looking at it from the front. We call these types of nose bulbous. We’re going to aim for slimmer nose. Ultimately, other than this area (where hump is), we will raise your nose overall. We’ll achieve a straighter nose with higher and more pointed shape. That will be the goal of this surgery.”

ID Hospital: How do you feel after the consultation?

David: I just finished my consultation with Dr. Kim. He answered all the questions I had I definitely feel more at ease now. Currently, I’m felling still nervous but more excited now. I’m looking forward to the procedure. .

ID Hospital: How do you feel after getting your cast off?

David: I just got my cast off and I’m at loss of words right now. I looked at the mirror and I didn’t recognize myself. I think it turned out exactly how I wanted. I’m very happy with the result but still getting used to my looks.
