Interview

Tracy’s Mommy Makeover at ID Hospital : 1 year results

ID Hospital: Hello Tracy! It’s been a year already since you had your mommy makeover at ID Hospital. We and many of our followers have keenly followed your results this past year. Your transformation is truly amazing. Are you satisfied with the surgery results?

Tracy: Yes, I’m very satisfied with my results! The surgery results really exceeded all expectations I had.

ID Hospital: People usually think after having children, only the body gets out of shape but even your looks and the way you feel about yourself changes. Can you express to others what you felt like before your mommy makeover?

Tracy: Before my surgeries, I felt like my face had a very “tired” look to it. The tired look didn’t reflect what I felt on the inside. I wanted to look like the “young, vibrant” person that I felt on the inside.

ID Hospital: When we interviewed you before surgery, you said that you felt the surgeries will propel you into a new direction. Do you feel the mommy makeover has impacted your life?

Tracy: The surgeries have made me more confident. My face looks “refreshed” not “tired”. The tired look really bothered me and made me very self-conscious. I definitely feel like my life has changed for the better after my surgeries.

ID Hospital: Sometimes we are held back by our belief that we are not good enough, or pretty enough. Did that happen to you? Are there things you have always wanted to do, but felt held back, and after surgery with your increased confidence, you were able to do them?

Tracy: I do think I am more confident and happy with myself because the surgery has helped me achieve the look I wanted.

ID Hospital: What we are trying to explain to people is, surgery is not just a physical thing. It enhances your looks, yes! But it also gives you so much more. What would you like to share with mothers out there who feel like they have given up on themselves or have lost their confidence or drive?

Tracy: I would tell mothers that in order to be happy you have to be happy with yourself first. I would look in the mirror and there were things about my face I wasn’t happy with. Everyone doesn’t need surgery to feel good about themselves, but in my case and, surgery has given me that extra confidence I was missing before. I think other women can also benefit from this type of confidence.

ID Hospital: Lastly, what made you decide to come all the way to Korea for your surgeries? What did you think you would be able to get here that you wouldn’t find in the states?

Tracy: I came to Korea and because I knew that as far as facial contouring surgery goes Korea and ID hospital had more experience as the surgeries are not very common in the US. I definitely think ID Hospital has more doctors who understand how to do facial contouring surgery. I felt like if I’m getting any surgery done on any part of my body I would want a doctor who does the surgery very often.

I did not want to go to a surgeon who does the surgery every now and then, because having enough clinical experience is important. It really plays a huge part in determining what the surgery results will turn out.
