Facial Contouring

Face-Reduction V Line Surgery | Natural & Balanced Results at ID Hospital

Hi, this is Riley from ID Hospital! 👋Hi, this is Riley from ID Hospital!

👋Today, I’d like to introduce one of our most popular facial contouring procedures — V Line surgery, which can slim down and refine the face for a natural yet dramatic transformation.

Common Concerns Before V Line Surgery

Before undergoing surgery, many patients ask us:

“Will my chin become too short?”

“Won’t it look too pointy and unnatural?”

No need to worry.
At ID Hospital, we design the V Line procedure customized to each individual’s facial structure, ensuring results that are balanced, natural, and three-dimensional.

The 3-Step Face Reduction V Line Surgery

Step 1) Dia Osteotomy

For a blunt or wide chin tip, unnecessary bone is trimmed and reassembled at the center.
This allows adjustment of both the length and position of the chin, making the facelook smaller and more defined.

Step 2) Osteotomy of Mandibular Angle + Cortical Bone

After adjusting the chin, diagonal osteotomy is applied to the mandibular angle and cortical bone.
This creates a thinner, more delicate jawline while avoiding nerve pathways — ensuring safety and preventing unnatural angles.

Step 3) Curved osteotomy of the rest angles

Chin Muscle Tying Muscles attached to the tip of the chin are tied after reshaping, allowing for a slimmer contour without the need for implants or fillers.

This enhances the overall V Line effect.

Key Points of V Line Surgery

Point 1: Adjusting the Length and Position of the Chin Short or long chins are refined into a natural proportion, delivering a smaller face effect.

Point 2: Slimmer Jawline with Diagonal Osteotomy The angular parts below the ears are reshaped, creating a smoother, slender V-line.

Point 3: Enhanced Results with Chin Muscle Tying Without foreign implants, the chin line looks more natural, slim, and balanced.

Why ID Hospital?

1. Golden Ratio & Three-Dimensional Balance

  • Highlight Zone: The chin is reduced and protrusion minimized, giving the face an overall smaller impression.
  • Shadow Zone: Angles are softened ,creating natural shadows for a slimmer and elegant jawline.

2. Balance Guide System

  • Step 1: Our medical team sets the golden ratio using 3D-CT data.
  • Step 2: This ratio is applied during surgery to achieve a naturally smaller and harmonious face.

Today, we looked into how ID Hospital’s V Line surgery not only slims the jawline but also creates a face with golden ratio harmony.

Riley’s Note 💡

V Line surgery isn’t just about making the face smaller — it’s about creating balance, harmony, and natural beauty.

By adjusting the chin and jawline in golden ratio, the face doesn’t simply look slim, but gains a refined, three-dimensional elegance.

That’s what makes ID Hospital’s approach to V Line surgery stand out as both safe and aesthetically advanced.
