“If you are older, you need a face lift, not a ‘quickie’ cheaper lift” – facelift Susie
April 21st, 2012
Susie had wanted cosmetic facial surgery for a number of years. “My mirror was no longer a friend of mine,” Susie said. “I didn’t like looking at loose skin, especially under my chin. Also, I have lots of energy and I didn’t want to continue to look older than I felt.”
Her son was getting married. What mother of the groom doesn’t want to look better in pictures? After making the decision to explore her options for looking younger, Susie’s challenge was that many things were going on in her life all at the same time. There was a vacation, a new grandson, quitting her job to be the “Granny Nanny” for him, and time to heal before the wedding.
Luckily, Susie received recommendations for ID hospital doctors in South Korea and their staffs demonstrated the experience and caring that allowed Susie to trust that she could have it all.
“I wanted to be healed before all the events,” Susie said. “ID hospital doctor was recommended to me, and I felt comfortable and safe trusting my face to his expertise.”
Susie went forward and chose to have a forehead, face, and neck lift with ID doctor. “If you are older, you need a face lift, not a ‘quickie’ cheaper lift,” she said. “This isn’t the time to get a bargain. You get what you pay for.”
She is thrilled with the results. “I would tell others considering facial procedures to find ID hospital and go for it!” she said. “Don’t be scared and wait as long as I did. I wish I had done this ten years ago!”
Susie praised ID hospital attentive and information approach to the entire plastic surgery experience—before surgery, during surgery, and recovery.
“Everything was good. Each person told me what to expect beforehand and that was really helpful,” Susie said. “My previous experience with surgeons in general had been that they were very interested in you until after the surgery was complete. ID hospital was not at all like that.”
That good first impression has lead to a lasting relationship. “I have already returned for filler and skin care products. I continue to be impressed by the combination of friendliness and professionalism at ID hospital,” Susie said. “I will be back for some other procedure in the future, and I will definitely choose ID hospital.”
Susie has advice to share with others considering plastic surgery. First, “check out your surgeon and be sure he or she is board certified. Meet the office staffs. Be sure you can be comfortable with them as well as the surgeon because you will be dealing with them too,” she said.
Next, research the surgeon’s previous work. “Look at the surgeon’s result pictures,” she recommends. “If you aren’t comfortable with their pictures, you may not be comfortable with your ‘new’ face.”
Susie continues on with her very active and happy life—and enjoys looking as young as she feels!
