Before Surgery
I’ve been thinking about V line surgery for 4 years but wasn’t sure about getting it. I was so scared and there were many clinics to choose from. After doing a lot of research, I decided to go with ID hospital after seeing all the reviews and videos on Youtube. I was impressed with the safety and the high technology of Korean plastic surgery. I also loved the surgery results of Doctor Jae Hyun Kwon, so I wanted him to perform my V-line surgery.
Consultation Day
First of all, I was so tired and nervous; I didn’t sleep for 5 days before the surgery. I kept thinking about my new face, the surgery process, will I love my new face, will I wake up after the surgery etc. I had all these fears before going to have surgery.
Then I had the first consultation with an assistant to make sure about my surgery expectations and do all the health check (X-ray, CT scan, blood tests, ECG test etc.)
After that, I had my consultation with Dr. Kwon. He was so knowledgeable and I felt very confident to have him perform my surgery.
On surgery day, I met both my surgeons to have the surgery designs drawn and final consultation before the surgery.
1 Week after surgery
7 days post-surgery, my face is so swollen and uncomfortable, but I do not feel any pain at all. I was expecting to have a lot of pain from because of the V-line surgery but I actually didn’t feel much pain. My thighs were hurt because the fat for the fat graft was taken from there, so I had pain, swelling and bruising there.
The worst moments after surgery were the first 9 hours after I woke up because you can’t drink any water for 6 hours post-surgery. My throat was so dry and painful because of the anesthesia. I also vomited twice and sleeping was difficult because I had to sleep on an elevated position to avoid nausea.
I had to eat liquid food for two days post-surgery (pumpkin juice and soup) and I walked a lot, visiting many beautiful places in Seoul, and that helped reduce my swelling. At three days post-surgery, I was able to eat noodles and I ate a burger! (It took me 1 hour to finish but I was so hungry!) I know I wasn’t supposed to eat a burger but I did anyway.
After doing the post-surgery swelling treatment, my swelling slowly started to reduce.
2 Weeks after surgery
I had my stitches removed before leaving back to Paris. The stitches removal was a bit painful but after it was over, it was OK. The swelling was gradually reducing day by day.
The thing that helped me the most during the surgery recovery was the ice pack around the face. It really helped reduce the swelling and helped me feel more comfortable. ID hospital provides the ice pack that you can bring to your hotel as part of the post-surgery home care pack.
1 Month after surgery
My major swelling seems to be gone; my face keeps getting smaller day by day. I still have minor swelling but I already feel so much more confident and pretty.
3 Months after surgery
I am going back to Korea to have my second fat grafting session and ACCU Sculpt laser fat removal for my chin area. I have some sagging skin, and the doctor says that will help me for my case, to lift up my skin.
I also had a photoshoot with ID Hospital for my 3 months post-surgery results! It was my first time to get professional photos taken and I had so much fun!
6 Months after surgery
I am so in love with results. The ACCU Sculpt laser fat removal did wonders for my chin area and made the surgery results show even better
9 Months to 1 year after surgery
Those surgeries were the best choices I have made in my life. I feel so much prettier and confident.
I just can’t thank ID Hospital enough for the surgery results I got.
