I would like to remind you that recommendations are purely recommendations; it would take face-to-face consultation with our well experienced doctors using possible X-ray and CT scan in order to give you accurate diagnosis and the best surgical plan tailored to your needs.

Based on your photos, it appears that you have malocclusion so we recommend the double jaw surgery to correct this. For your cheekbones, to reduce the width, we recommend cheekbone reduction surgry. No braces are required to be worn before surgery, but you will have to wear braces one month after surgery. For your nose, we recommend rhinoplasty with alarplasty.

Please note that the two jaw surgery and Rhinoplasty cannot be done at the same time due to breathing issues. You can first do the two jaw surgery with the V-line surgery and then the Rhinoplasty 3 weeks afterwards, which will make the recovery period 6 weeks to 7 weeks long.

Double Jaw surgery

As far as the Double Jaw Surgery, ID Hospital is the best in the nation for this complex surgery, and is the first hospital in Asia, to specialize in maxillofacial surgery.

Two-jaw surgery separates the upper and lower jaws and adjusts them in the correct position. The procedure is suitable for conditions including mandibular prognathism, mouth protrusion, facial asymmetry, and other abnormal positioning of the jaw. Traditionally, braces were required to be worn 1 to 1.5 years prior to surgery. The double Jaw surgery method originating from ID Hospital is an innovative procedure that has shortened the whole surgery time by eliminating the braces prior to surgery. After the surgery, a wafer is worn for one month followed by braces.

The prices for the procedures are:

-Double Jaw Surgery starts at 20 million KRW
-Wafer impression mold 2.5 million KRW
-Barbie line nose surgery with Alarplasty starts at 6 million KRW
- Cheekbone reduction surgery starts from between 7 million KRW to 12 million KRW depending on the surgery method (recommended during consultation)

Patients of Double jaw surgery are required to stay in Korea at least for 5 weeks. Before surgery, a week is required to make wafer mold impression.

You will be hospitalized for 2~3 days and 2 or 3 times of treatment sessions required within a month. Stitch will be removed 14 days after. Post orthodontic treatment can begin 1 month after surgery. You can process this with a dentist in your country, or visit our hospital once every 1 month~ 3 month.

Price is inclusive of pre and post operation examination fee (X-ray and CT scan), post-op treatments fee, anesthesia fee etc. (Post orthodontic treatment is not included). If you pay a deposit (deposit is 1 million KRW / 1000 USD) before prior to coming, we will ensure you get the best doctor for your surgery on your preferred day. We will also provide an airport pick-up and assistance with booking in our affiliated hotels (fee is not included).
