Hi! I had braces for almost 4.5 years to correct my underbite. I was initially going to get jaw surgery however it was very expensive so I opted for just the braces. I took my braces off about 2 years ago and still wear my retainers nightly. I wear a Hawley retainer for my top and clear plastic retainer on my bottom teeth. Currently I am wondering if I should reconsider the jaw surgery since my protruding chin is still very obvious and I am unable to smile confidently due to misaligned and seemingly not touching teeth. I wonder approximately how long I should stay in Korea for the surgery and recovery time. Also if I would need to wear braces again or opt for veeners. Thanks!
