Hello,

I am Urmila from the UK, I am 24yrs old. When I was 16 I had maxillofacial surgery due to tumour (Juvenile Ossifying Fibroma) growth inside my mouth on upper left jaw.Due to the large size and spread of the tumour around my gum/teeth doctors had to remove huge section of my left upper jaw/gum bone, i was left with big hollow space inside my left cheek. Now I do not have half of my lower cheekbone/gum (sorry i don't know how else to explain this).Doctors at that time told me it was a very rare case so there was no permanent solution for it. Since then I have been living with partial denture and it was very uncomfortable for a while but now I'm used to it and does not hinder in my lifestyle .Also when the tumour was growing it kind of pushed my uppercheek bone more upwards making my left cheekbone slightly higher than right one. Because of the tumour and surgery now my face is very assymetrical and sunken on my left cheek. I thought with my case there would be no plastic surgery solution but I stumbbled across one of many ID experiences in youtube and thought I would enquiry about my issues. I was wondering if you have any solution for it? will doing facial contouring surgery fix it or do i need to consult to dental department? Also would it possible to get an estimation of costs, recovery time and procedure process in advance?

I have attached photos of my front face ,sides and internal mouth.

Best Regards
