Can orthodontics be done before all permanent teeth have grown in?
The ideal time for treating children’s malocclusion is between
8 and 10 years old when the front permanent teeth start to come in.
Additionally, orthodontic treatment can help guide the growth
of the lower jaw into a normal position as it continues to develop.
Is there an optimal time for partial correction in children?
When children’s permanent “two molars and four front teeth”
begin growing in the "2 by 4 appliance" phase (ages 8–10),
it’s best to start correction so that additional permanent teeth
can have enough space and grow in properly aligned.

Crowded Teeth
Simulation of tooth movement for deep bite
A deep bite is when crowded teeth cover the lower teeth
Simulation of tooth movement for underbite
Underbite occurs when the lower front teeth are ahead
of the upper front teeth when the mouth is closed
Simulation of tooth movement for crossbite
Crossbite is when some upper teeth are inside the lower teeth when the mouth is closed
Simulation of tooth movement for gap teeth
If there is space between one or more teeth, it’s considered gap teeth.
Simulation of tooth movement for open bite
Open bite is when the upper and lower front teeth
do not touch when the mouth is closed
Simulation of tooth movement for crowded teeth
When there isn’t enough space for all teeth,
they overlap and need alignment for correction
