ID Hospital: Hi Aleida! It’s lovely to have you here. We wanted to catch up with you before your surgery so people can get an idea about the Mommy Makeover Breast augmentation surgery experience in South Korea. Please introduce yourself!

Aleida: Hello, it is exciting and a pleasure to be here at ID Hospital. My name is Aleida. I am 30 years old, Puerto Rican woman, mother of two, teacher, and a military wife.

ID Hospital: How long have you been living in Korea? How do you like it here?

Aleida: I have lived in Seoul for almost two years. I love this Seoul and everything that it has to offer. Everything is amazing the people, the culture and the cuisine. There are many unique places to visit, delicious food, and the public transportation is also convenient.

What I love the most is that even though the population of Seoul is estimated to be more than 10 million, I feel safe and comfortable in this mega city. I feel thankful for being able to live here.

ID Hospital: How did you get to know ID Hospital?

Aleida: After moving to Seoul, I learned that South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world. I did my research and found out that ID Hospital is the top plastic surgery hospital in Asia. I can understand why, because I follow several YouTubers who have undergone surgeries at ID Hospital and their results are phenomenal.

 

 

ID Hospital: Which surgery will you be undergoing?

Aleida: I will be having a breast augmentation.

ID Hospital: Why have you decided to have this surgery?

Aleida: One of the top reasons is because I want to look better with and without clothes. I have always had issues when buying bras, swimsuits, blouses or strapless tops. I’m pretty sure breast augmentation at ID Hospital will be a great procedure and those clothing problems I’ve had all my life will be history.

ID Hospital: What do you feel this surgery will add to your life?

Aleida: I feel it will change my self-perception. I love myself the way I am, but having this surgery will increase my self-esteem helping me to gain more confidence. 

 

 

ID Hospital: What is your family’s opinion about you going for this surgery?

Aleida: My family, especially my husband is being very supportive. I’ve provided them with information to help them understand the procedure and that it´s something safe. However, I own my body, I’m an adult, and this is a personal decision. They all know is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m happy they respect that, whether they agree or not.

ID Hospital: Do you think it is important for women to take care of their bodies after pregnancy?

Aleida: It’s not a secret that having birth can dramatically change our bodies. I think is important to take care of our bodies to recover our appearance after pregnancy or to even look way better than before.

ID Hospital: How important do you think breast augmentation surgery is for the image of a woman?

Aleida: It depends on the situation. I often experienced embarrassment about my breast size, and I know other women who go through the same thing. However, as I have matured, I have learned to consider my own beauty and accept myself the way I am. I truly believe my body is beautiful, although it is far from perfect, with breast augmentation I only hope to improve it and, as a result, develop better confidence.

 

 

ID Hospital: Will this surgery make you feel younger and more confident than you already are?

Aleida: ABSOLUTELY!

ID Hospital: Are you nervous about having surgery, or have you had this type of surgery before?

Aleida: As of right now, I am more excited than nervous, and this is because I completely trust in the amazing job and advanced technology ID Hospital is capable of providing. I feel so lucky I found this hospital! I have always wanted a breast augmentation but was too scared of the outcome that I could get back in the United States.

ID Hospital: What challenges do you feel you will face whilst healing after surgery?

Aleida: I’m mentally preparing myself for some pain, swelling, discomfort and the time factor to see the final results. Otherwise, I’m confident that everything will work out for the best.

 

 

ID Hospital: Any messages for women out there who want to have a “Mommy Makeover”?

Aleida: Choosing to have surgery is a personal decision. I think that women should never choose a “Mommy Makeover” or some other surgery to please the expectations of others. However, for women who think through their decision, it can have a huge and positive impact on their lives.
