Recovery process for Liposuction: Tips to help you maintain your surgery results
Even though the scars are barely visible, some people might not want to have any. You can start using a scar treatment cream one month after surgery to help the scar fade.
Make sure you wear the compression suit as instructed. Failure to do so will result in unevenness or bumpiness, so wear the garment according to the doctor’s recommendation.
Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water as this will help you heal faster.
You have to take your post-surgery diet very seriously. After liposuction, you cannot go back to your “bad habits” of eating junk food, or unhealthy food. You have to eat healthy, nutritious food and avoid excess sugar and salt. Have smaller meals during the day and space them out so you do not feel sick.
Liposuction removes fat cells but the remaining fat cells can still grow bigger, thereby making you gain weight. It is crucial to follow a proper diet and fitness regime to ensure your surgery results will last.
Wait so how do you know your results are actually from Liposuction and not from your diet….if you could loose the weight through diet why didn’t you just diet before liposuction?
