Aleida had her Mommy makeover transformation at ID Hospital two months ago and not only did she love her results, she was glowing with happiness. We sat down with her as she had her follow-up with the surgeon and post-surgery treatments to help heal faster.

ID Hospital: Aleida! You look stunning. Tell us what happened since you got discharged from ID Hospital after your surgery.

Aleida: For three days after the surgery, I was in pain. It wasn’t the type of intolerable pain, more like discomfort. I felt constipated, couldn’t sleep well and felt like there was a heavy pressure on my chest area. Thank God my family was very caring and understanding. Within 3 days, I was able to get back on my feet, back to normal.

 

 

ID Hospital: How do you feel now? How is the healing process going?

Aleida: Most of the swelling is gone. The surgeon told me after the surgery, that the numbness and loss of sensation in the breast area will last about 6 months, but not only is all the numbness gone, but I can feel the sensation has also returned. I was a little worried about scarring since I had the incisions below my breasts but even the scars are healing so well, I am very satisfied with the pace of the healing.

My breasts are so soft, just like natural breasts. The implant texture is unbelievably soft, and they feel so natural to the touch. Friends of mine, who have had this surgery back home, complain about pain until a year after surgery, they feel discomfort and I am really thankful to have had my surgery at ID Hospital, and avoided those types of situation.

ID Hospital: Are you happy with the results?

Aleida: Before the surgery, my chest was very flat due to breast feeding, so my goal from having Mommy makeover transformation was to get bigger breasts. To be very honest, right after the surgery, since there was a lot of swelling, I was happy with the size. After the swelling disappeared, I felt like they are too small for me, I wished I had opted for a larger size. Everyone else didn’t agree though, everyone thought this size is perfect for my body size, but you know how it is! The bigger, the better, is what I was thinking.

It wasn’t until I actually started putting on my dresses, and then I realized that the size is actually quite big! A lot of my tops didn’t fit anymore! Sometimes it takes time for the body and mind to make a connection, so I am still getting used to the size. They may not be super big, but they are big enough, so natural to the touch, soft and I absolutely love them.

 

 

ID Hospital: Do you feel that it increased your confidence the way you expected?

Aleida: Even more than I expected! Not only has the surgery increased my confidence, but I feel a lot bolder now. I will be going home this summer, and looking forward to getting into a bikini and enjoying the trips to the beach.
